Frequently thought of as one of the founders of the Ska Punk genre, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones have been making waves since the early '80s, slowly transforming their sound from the hardcore scene in which they established their roots to the more formative Ska Punk scene for which they are more well known for today. After completing their first American tour in 1991, the band signed with Mercury Records in 1993 and gained notoriety after their album "More Noise and Other Disturbances" and their subsequent tour with The Warped Tour in 1997. The Band announced a three year hiatus in 2004, and after their return in 2007, the band has been touring extensively throughout the United States, ensuring their success for a long time to come.
