Supergrass is a British indie rock band from Oxford. Shortly after its inception in 1993, Supergrass signed a record deal and in 1995, Supergrass' I Should Coco was released during the climax of the Britpop era. This band moves about a bit, recording albums wherever they're stationed, and the surroundings have a direct effect on the type of music the band puts out: a quiet album was the result of a recording session in the Normandy in 2005, whereas the Berlin recordings of 2008 are more upbeat and outgoing.
