After producing albums for bands emerging from France's blustering trip-hop and hip-hop scenes in the 1990s, Jean-Christophe Le Saoût started creating his own music under the moniker Wax Tailor. The music is a chilled out eclectic blending of electronic styles that highlight Le Saoût's impressive skill on the turntables. Though Le Saoût doesn't sing on his tracks, he taps on several prominent vocal artists to add smooth humanistic tones to his oftentimes mechanically rigid music.
