Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2006, Graveyard is a rock band that offers a throwback, riff-heavy and blues-influenced hard rock style of the 1970s. Bonding over modern stoner rock and a mutual admiration for guitar-heavy giants such as Black Sabbath and Cream, four musicians grouped together after the dissolution of their respective bands and began creating music under the name Graveyard. With the release of its self-titled debut LP in 2007, the band exposed its signature guitar style--blistering electric guitar riffing and deliberate blues structures. An appearance at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin gave Graveyard its first taste of international success, which it has continued to expand on with its well-received albums and extensive tour schedule.
