This five-day festival in March recognizes Williams' deep connection with New Orleans and his influence on its literary community while promoting the city's rich cultural diversity. Activities include live theater panel discussions, walking tours, one-act plays, competitions, master classes, and poetry readings. Events take place at galleries, theaters, and other public locations in the New Orleans area, but mostly in the French Quarter.
Please note that for 2021 the festivities have moved online.
