Does it feel like stress gets the best of you, or maybe your life isn't exactly in balance or where you want it to be? This class will help you better understand the effects that stress can have on your body and health, as well as teach you ways to cope with that stress and get a handle on the effects of it (such as weight control, lack of circulation, digestion issues, trouble sleeping, just to name a few). Stress is a part of our lives, so learning ways to balance it out the best we can goes a long way in helping you cope with everyday stresses. This course will get some of those health concerns addressed. There will be discussions, handouts, and some easy exercises. Even if you took this class last year, you will find it beneficial.
Instructor: Betty White, Integrative Nutrition Health CoachI am Betty White and I graduated from Institute of Integrative Nutrition in January, 2018 as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I really enjoyed teaching this class at last year's BU and hope to make it even stronger this year. This topic is so important to me because it wasn't until I was taking my course studies when I realized how much effect stress had on my life and my health, and how easy it is to control these effects. It is just a matter of retraining ourselves. I want to share these tools with as many people as I can so we can all live without the control stress can have on us.
