Born in the west African country of Mauritania, Daby Touré spent his childhood in Senegal before moving to Paris. Currently based out of Montreal, Touré creates a style of music that's a clear reflection of where he has spent his life. Blending together traditional African folk stylings with modern alternative rock and blues stylings, Touré released his debut album, Diam, in 2004 and the LP's intelligent collection of songs helped establish him as a formidable talent on the modern international music scene.
