Former front-man for Miracle Legion, Mark Mulcahy is a singer/songwriter and musician from Springfield, Massachusetts. After a moderately successful run with Miracle Legion, he formed Polaris, the house band for the 1990s television series The Adventures of Pete & Pete, and played with the outfit until the show was cancelled in 1996. Mulcahy soon found himself in New York City, where he began to pick up the pieces of his career and craft his own alternative pop/rock sound. After releasing his debut solo album Fathering, in 1997, he went on to open for iconic artists such as Oasis and Jeff Buckley. Though his career faded into the late 2000s, he reemerged in 2012 with a Polaris reunion that eventually led to the release of his own single, "Low Birthweight Child/The Cottage That We Rented Had a Name."
