Combining instrumental virtuosity with modern techniques has set Nashville-based bluegrass band The Infamous Stringdusters apart. While the six-piece plays traditional stringed instruments, its arrangements reflect varied influences--from Bela Fleck to U2--marking it as a part of the steadily growing newgrass movement. Since forming in 2009, The Infamous Stringdusters has toured extensively, won critical acclaim and garnered a Grammy Award in 2011.
