Mathieu Hocine has been writing songs since he was a kid. In the early 2000s, he adopted the stage name Kid Francescoli as a tribute to the football legend Enzo Francescoli. In spite of growing up listening to French rap, Hocine has created a niche for himself with his unique brand of music that combines elements of pop, electro, film-soundtracks and other genres.
