Gisborne, New Zealand-based Christian metal band Saving Grace was formed in 2005 by Bruce Reid, Mark Stichbury, Nick Tauthi and Vasely Sapunov. Benjamin Davidson and George White were roped in to join the band after the exit of Stichbury and Reid. The band's debut album Behind Enemy Lines, was released in 2008 and featured tracks like "The Most Beautiful Promise," "Just a Second," "...Even As I Bleed," "U Becoming You," and more. Saving Grace followed it up with its 2010 release Unbreakable, which featured the lead single "Oaxena." Davidson quit the band following the release of the album and was replaced by Ryan Wilson, who was later replaced by Shaun Anderson. The band's fourth album The Urgency, released in 2014, became one of its most appreciated album. In 2019, the band members announced that they would be going there separate ways and would not record new material together.
