Getting his start as the lead singer for the progressive English outfit Supertramp, Roger Hodgson made a name for himself as a memorable vocalist and songwriter before embarking on a solo career in 1984. Though Supertramp dissolved in 1983 after 14 years together, Hodgson continued to serenade audiences with his soulful voice. He released his first solo effort In the Eye of the Storm, in 1984 followed by 1987's Hai Hai.
