Tesseract is an English progressive metal band that was formed in 2007. An integral player of the djent metal movement, the group is known for its distinctive high-gain sound and distorted, palm-muted guitar sounds. The group released its debut album, One, in 2011 and the LP helped turn the band from a fledgling group that was barely held together by a thin piece of twin, into a well respected band with a fan base that would be willing to do almost anything in the name of Tesseract.
