Originally performing under the monicker Charlie Winston and the Oxymorons, Charlie Winston is a singer/songwriter from the UK whose indie folk music has captured a solid fanbase, particularly among his French audience. Winston followed his 2007 certified platinum, debut solo album Make Way with his well recieved LP Hobo, which spent 30 weeks in the top ten on French charts in 2009. After taking home the 2010 European Border Breakers Award for Best UK Artist and Europe, he released his third album, Running Still, in 2011.
