A true representative of French sentimentality and romance, Daniel Guichard began his career singing in Parisian cabarets covering Edith Piaf songs and eventually received commercial success as an adult alternative singer/songwriter in the mid 70s. Most famous for his Top 40 hits "La Tendresse" and "Mon Vieux," Guichard, with his gentle, nostalgic vocals and heavy French accent, continues to be the standard for 70s French pop.
