The Lynden Farmers Day Parade is celebrated as an ode to the agricultural community as well as the agribusiness that has had a major role in the city's prosperity. This century-old tradition, like any other parade, is decorated by floats and livened up by bike riders and various marching bands. As it is themed around agriculture, the parade also has farm equipment - old as well as new, set on display. Annually held on the first Saturday of June, this jolly procession is an all-inclusive event to be enjoyed by people of all age groups.
