Based in the town that hosts the National Football League’s Hall of Fame, the Canton Charge follow the lead of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA’s D-League. The club was originally called the Huntsville Flight in 2001 and based in the same Alabama city, however it moved to New Mexico in 2005 for six-years before moving to Ohio in 2011. The team colors also follow those of the parent club, which are wine, gold and white. As the Canton Charge, the team finished first in the Eastern Conference in 2013-14, however they lost in the first round to Tulsa (2-1).
