British quartet The Futureheads met at The City of Sunderland College in 2000. While it took a short while for the band to solidify its lineup, with a couple members branching off to form the respected UK band Field Music, The Futureheads released its first album in 2004 and while the post-punk tinged rock album was met with critical acclaim, it failed to capture a large audience. A few months later, the group released a cover of the Kate Bush song "Hounds of Love," which immediately skyrocketed to the top of the British charts and the band has enjoyed consistent fame since.
