Easter (Pâques in French) is a Christian holiday celebrating the day Jesus supposedly come back to life. Religious people often attend a mass (prayer service). Church bells do not ring for a few days preceding Easter, and this tradition has evolved into a story about bells traveling to Rome and bringing back eggs. The eggs symbolize new life and a new beginning. The day after Easter, Lundi de Pâques, is also a holiday.
