The Grafters exhibition explores scenes of industrial life in 19th, 20th and 21st century Britain bringing together stunning photography, curated by internationally acclaimed artist and photographer Ian Beesley, and original poetry by Ian Macmillan. Visitors will travel on a journey from a time when workers were merely used to demonstrate the scale of industrial development to being headlined in campaigns to boost moral, finishing in a period where photography became affordable enough for people to represent themselves and tell their own stories.
