Sébastien Tellier is a French singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose cross-genre pop music is infused with electronic, lo-fi, R&B and new wave characteristics. His debut album L'incroyable Vérité, released in 2001, features Tellier on electric guitar, bass, keyboards, piano and various mediums of percussion, demonstrating his mastery of composition. Starting with his 2005 follow-up album Politics, he released a string of albums with single world titles that double as themes for each song collection such as 2006's Universe and 2008's Sexuality. Tellier, who records in French, English and Italian, lent his music to several movies, including Sophia Coppola's films Lost In Translation and Somewhere, and scored the entire soundtrack for the 2004 French film Narco. In 2012, he released his ninth studio album My God Is Blue, on his longtime label Record Marks.
