The months of November and December bring in the festive cheer as Krakow celebrates the holidays. The Central Square gears up with tents selling decorations, home-made sweets, cakes, wines, oscypek cheese and other savories. Trinkets, woolen slippers and other items made in the Baltic are also sold. Carol singing, concerts, traditional dances, and crib competitions make the Christmas Market a joy to visit.
