Started in 1976, this is one of Poland's biggest festivals, which looks at the country’s culture and traditions through classical music. Conducted at many of Krakow's landmarks such as college campuses, churches, concert halls and street centers, the festival invites many accomplished ensembles to strut their stuff in front of ardent and patriotic fans. The Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir is often the star attraction, with tickets selling out wherever they are scheduled to perform.
