Naraka Chaturdashi

The Hindu festival Naraka Chaturdashi is part of the five-day-long Diwali festivities. It celebrates the victory of Kali, Krishna and Satyabhama over the demon king Narakasura, and is also known as Roop Chaudas, Choti Diwali and Kali Chaudas. The rituals associated with this day include puja (prayer rituals) and making religious offerings to the Gods.
