Maine Celtics Vs. Fort Wayne Mad Ants

The Maine Celtics is a basketball team that is part of the National Basketball Association's Development League and is affiliated with the Boston Celtics. Founded in 2009 as the Maine Red Claws, the team's name was initially decided on by a "name the team" contest where voters could pick between the Red Claws, the Beacons, the Swarm, the Traps, the Crushers or the Destroyers. In 2021 the team was renamed as Maine Celtics after the Boston Celtics bought the team off Maine Basketball, LLC.
