Niccolò Paganini was a violin virtuoso, composer and guitarist who rose as one of the most beloved violinists of the Romantic era. After gaining traction in his home country of Italy with his razor sharp technical skills, he became a the 19th century equivalent of an international rock star by traveling through the biggest European cities. One of the most celebrated violinists in history, his major works include his 24 Caprices for Solo Violin Op. 1, which still serve as inspiration for contemporary classical composers.
