Join us for this 45-minute crash course in geocaching for beginners! Geocaching is an outdoor scavenger hunt that makes use of your phones GPS technology as you search for hidden caches along established trails.

In this limited capacity class, well go over the basics of using the Geocaching smartphone app at Duke Farms to find some geocaches. At the conclusion of the course, youll be prepared to complete the geocaching trails at Duke Farms and beyond!

Please dress for the weather. The class is 100% outdoors and participants should be prepared to walk or stand the entire time. Some trails may be muddy.

Meet at the front entrance of the Farm Barn and look for the flag to check-in. The class will leave on time.

DUKE FARMS PROGRAM GUIDELINES:

Programs at Duke Farms adhere to CDC guidelines. Educators and participants must wear masks for the entire duration of this program and maintain social distancing (6'+ of separation). Duke Farms staff reserve the right to ask a participant to leave the program if they are not following guidelines. Please stay home if you are sick. Pre-registration is required, walk-ins will not be accepted.

Please note that registration to a Saturday program comes with an entry pass. You DO NOT need to register separately for a Saturday Entry Pass.
