Gyllene Tider, which loosely translates to "golden times" in English, formed as a Swedish pop/rock group in 1975. The band's pop hit "Sommertider" ("Summertime") has become an almost universally recognizable song throughout most of Scandinavia. Since the group disbanded in 1985, Gyllene Tider has reunited several times for concerts due to popular demand.
