Spanish crooner Pablo Alboran's passion for music can be traced back to his early childhood, where at the age of seven he began studying classical guitar and piano. Today, that refined training can still be heard in Alboran's music and guitar playing. Stylistically, however, he's shifted into vocal pop territory, singing both original and cover songs with his smooth and emotive voice. Obvious nods to flamenco and other traditional Spanish styles are added to the mix, but it's the love ballads and sparse, earnest pop songs that have begun to win him fans in his home country.
