Born into a musical family in New York in the 1950s, Eric Bibb was constantly surrounded by talent--he was even advised musically by Bob Dylan at the age of 11. Naturally falling in line, Bibb received a steel-stringed acoustic guitar at a young age and has been playing ever since. With an impressive catalog of albums and several awards, Bibb is considered one of the blues guitar greats. Though his fame is much greater in Europe, as Bibb has been based out of Stockholm for several decades, American post-war blues is still his specialty and Bibb is a live act to behold.
