Alabama

Alabama is a country rock band from (you guessed it) Alabama that was formed in 1969. The group blended traditional country music with southern rock as well as elements of gospel and pop that gave Alabama's sound a crossover appeal, leading to surprisingly unprecedented success. Shortly after striking it big with it's 1981 album, Feels So Right, the band started touring extensively and incorporating elements like impressive lighting rigs and various "sets" into its performances. Though the band called it quits in 2004, it has since reformed and can now be found playing various venues throughout the continental United States and occasionally Canada.
