Kunker Vogt is an electronic group from Hameln, Germany that was formed by vocalist Jens Kastel and producer Gerrit Thomas in 1995. Creating an intensive, industrial style of music that oftentimes creates a dystopian sounding sonic aesthetic, Kunker Vogt released its debut album, Thanks for Nothing, in 1996 to well received critical praise. Continuing to work with themes of addled futuristic existence in its music, the band has kept a prolific recording schedule and manages to build upon its artistic credibility with each consecutive album release.
