Then Comes Silence is a Swedish post-punk band formed in 2012. The Stockholm-based group released its eponymous debut album that same year and spent the rest of 2012 performing at various festivals. Its next release, 2013's Then Comes Silence II, featured the singles "Can't Hide" and "She Lies in Wait." Following the release of its third album Nyctophilian, the band signed a deal with the German label Nuclear Blast and released Blood through it in 2017. The year 2020 saw the release of the band's fourth record Machine on Metropolis Records. Then Comes Silence's musical inclinations are clearly exhibited through songs like "Strange Kicks," "The Dead Cry for No One," "Good Friday," "Strangers," "Flashing Pangs of Love" and "We Lose the Night," among others.
