Oslo is a play that tells the true but little-known story of how the 1993 Middle East peace talks ended up being held in a castle in the middle of the forest in Norway. It all begins with Norwegian diplomat and unsung hero Mona Juul and her husband Terje Rod-Larsen, who coordinated covert peace negotiations between the Palestine Liberation Organization Chairman Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prim Minister Yitzhak Rabin in the early 1990s. Written by J.T. Rogers, Oslo is a true testament to the power of conversation and how history can be changed by the efforts or one human.
