Good Riddance formed in 1986 and wound up becoming a highly-influential punk rock band over the course of its 20 year career. The Santa Cruz, California-based group became one of the flagship acts of Fat Wreck Chords, the label owned by Fat Mike of NOFX, releasing seven albums on the label. Often highly political and always strong in its straight-edge approach, Good Riddance helped define the sounds of melodic hardcore and skate punk, specifically in the 1990s, which would ultimately prove to be the group's heyday. The band disbanded in 2007, but reunited in 2012.
