Single Mom Side Hustle Enablement Group is about creating an environment in which to achieve our project goals while knowing our kids are welcome and happy. Being a smaller group, we'll have the chance to get to know each other and build comradery.

What kind of side hustle projects might we work on? That's up to you. Do you want to start a blog, do some writing, take some Udemy classes, learn to build an app, pick up e-commerce skills to monetize an existing site? Bring it!

My biggest goal is to get through Launch School (Front End Development course) and come out a highly proficient software engineer. It's a big career transition and I'm not giving up until it's done! You may even see me editing my podcast where I read children's short stories, or writing an article for Medium (that's so neglected right now).

Bring your kids, settle into an inviting, friendly place where you can make friends and know that we're all there doing the same thing: letting our kids play together while we invest in ourselves and make some new friends.

I imagine this group to be made up the following elements:

1. Open and non-judgemental. It's okay to have "silly" or "crazy" ideas (those sometimes turn out to be the most successful!) It's okay to hit roadblocks, become indecisivie or even make poor decisions along the way. We're all learning and growing together.

3. Empowering and patient. Let's dish out the love that we need and enable each other to keep moving forward.

4. Remembering the kids (and babies). Let's make sure our own kids are taken care of and behaving, and maybe help each other out with each other's kids if it is needed and welcome (I don't mind holding a baby while I work).

*Show up and leave any time between 5:00 and 9:00. Come and go as your schedule and energy permits.

And here's a bonus! My boyfriend is working on his own side hustle, a Vietnamese cookbook. He is planning on working on his recipes while we work, and is hoping for taste-testers. He's a really good cook.

Regarding dinner times. I might just make it pizza night every Thursday so it's one less thing to think about. This is something we can determine as we go along. I open to ideas.
