Rich Robinson is a singer/songwriter and musician from Athens, Georgia who rose to international recognition as the founding guitarist of The Black Crowes. After releasing its sixth studio LP Lions, in 2001, the band split up, leaving Robinson free to pursue other projects, such as Hookah Brown and Circle Sounds, as well as focus on his own bluesy Southern rock solo material. He dropped his debut album, Paper, on Keyhole Records in 2004, just before reuniting with The Black Crowes. Robinson has since continued to operate with his long-time band while also crafting his own sound on albums like 2011's Through a Crooked Sun.
