Linsey Alexander is a Chicago-based musician who embodies the rich tradition of the city's storied blues history. Though he was born and raised in Mississippi and Memphis respectively, Alexander was struck by the music being made by legendary electric blues musicians in Chicago, such as Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. After moving to the city he'd come to admire, he made a name for himself throughout the Chicago area with his blistering electric guitar playing and soulful vocals. When he's not playing solo, Alexander will often perform with his backing band, which helps his modern spin on the blues take on a distinct rock and roll quality.
