Reba McEntire is a country singer/songwriter from McAlester, Oklahoma who over her decades long career has risen to become one of the more recognizable country musicians. Though McEntire released her self-titled debut album in 1977 and enjoyed moderate success, McEntire didn't achieve widespread attention until she started to incorporate more of a pop-friendly sound into her sound beginning with her 1984 album, Just a Little Love. Having since continued to release LPs of catchy, country pop songs--in addition to maintaining a busy acting career--McEntire has solidified her standing as one of the more capable country musicians of her generation.
