Join Odin in a series of sessions that change their directive each month and are devoted to working in a smaller and more intensive learning environment, to improve specific artistic skills.
In the interest of thinking ahead and trying not to be a last-minute gift maker, I have designated September as a great month to work on creating beautiful small paintings and ornaments with time to spare for Christmas gift giving! Using our creativity and tiny canvases or wooden pieces, we will work on the fine art of painting very small, as well as learning how to finish off these pieces to make them the perfect, one of a kind treasures to give to friends and family. Think of all the beautiful images you could give away! This is a chance to make some truly magical paintings that people will never want to regift, nor will they pack them away with the Christmas things once the holiday has passed!!
Please be prepared with small “gift sized” (4”X4”,2”X4”, 3”X3” etc) canvases or wood pieces, smaller brushes, as well as reference material and any other supplies you normally use or things you may want to try. You may want to bring in metallic paints, fine glitter or anything that may make memorable gifts spectacular.
