January 6 is when Mexicans exchange Christmas gifts. Instead of Santa Claus it is the Three Kings who deliver presents to children. In many cities throughout the country there are neighborhood parties where the children gather together to show off their gifts and a special sweet cake with fruit on top is served. Inside each cake is a tiny figure of the baby Jesus and whoever gets the baby must throw a party for everyone eating the cake. This holiday marks the end of the Christmas season.
