An Introduction to Linocut with Joanna Briar

Print your design by hand using basic tools that you will be able to take away with you to continue using at home after the workshop.

Participants will need to bring an old wooden spoon, apron, sketchbook, pencil and ideas!

Suitable for complete beginners

Booking Information

Cost £75 per person, including a basic set of lino tools to take away with you, and tea/coffee.

Please note, to ensure safe social distancing numbers have been restricted to 5 people per workshop. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

The Grain Store Cafe is open for participants to buy lunch or bring a packed lunch.

About the Artist

Joannas artworks are on display at the Museum for her first solo exhibition A Sense of Place. The works demonstrate Joannas deep connection to the local landscape and its natural diversity. Elements of Somersets unique geography the lines of the landscape, water, wildflowers, meadows and open spaces reoccur throughout.
