Glastonbury is one of the most famous music festivals ever, with a history that dates back to 1970. It has inspired movies and even songs (by such artists as Joe Strummer and U2). The festival features performances by the biggest pop and rock stars as well as the most popular representatives of other genres. In addition to the concerts, there are theater, comedy, and circus performances, kid-friendly and environment-related activities, talks by leftist speakers, art installations, and more. The attendees usually stay at the festival's various campsites. Check the website for additional information.
