Fatboy Slim (aka Norman Cook) is one of the more notable English DJs/producers to bring electronic music to mainstream popularity. By mashing samples from starkly different genres and interjecting an underlying dance beat, Cook created some of the most "accepted" electronic music of the 20th Century. Though he released his debut LP, Better Living Through Chemistry, in 1996, Fatboy Slim didn't recieve widespread comercial and critical success until the release of his 1998 album, We've Come A Long Way, Baby.
