Initially trained in piano at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, Lazza transitioned to hip hop, joining collectives like Zero2 and Blocco Recordz. He released his debut mixtape, Destiny Mixtape, in 2012 and followed with K1 Mixtape in 2014. His debut studio album, Zzala (2017), blended trap with classical piano, yielding hits like "MOB" and "Lario." His second album, Re Mida (2019), and third album, Sirio (2022), solidified his status, with Sirio becoming a multi-platinum success and holding the record for the longest chart-topping album in Italy in a decade.
