This football club from England’s West Midlands has many nicknames, ‘West Brom’, the ‘Baggies’ and the ‘Throstles’ to name a few. One of the oldest clubs in English football, it is a founding member of the Football League (1888) and it was even established and playing ball ten years before that! The club has also played at The Hawthorns, a pitch that the club has used since 1900. Since the team plays in the West Midlands region, their natural rivals are Aston Villa and the Wolfhampton Wanderers. The club had success in the 20th Century, when it won England’s FA Cup five times, the Football League First Division once and the Football League Second Division three times, however the team has yet to win in the Premiere League since its first entrance in 2001.
