Sham 69

Sham 69 is a punk band from Surrey, England that was founded in 1976. Building a strong reputation for itself with powerful live shows, Sham 69 oftentimes incorporated various populist chants into its music, which opposed a number of the art school sophisticates who comprised the majority of English punk bands at the time. Though the group has undergone a number of lineup changes and hiatuses over its decades long existence, it still nevertheless manages to play rousing shows that capitalize off the band's enduring energy.
