Cervantes's epic novel, Don Quixote, has served as the inspiration for many different theater performances, including ballet and opera works; although, the most straightforward is undoubtedly its play incarnation. Retelling the legendary tales of the episodic figure Don Quixote, the knight of La Mancha whose imagination and tenacity take him from adventure to adventure with the aid of his bumbling right-hand man, Sancho Panza. Its play version has received the attention of the best critics of the day who are eager to revisit this classic tale through movement and action time and time again.
