Literaturhaus Berlin invites you to a virtual conversation with Nina Ansary, discussing her book, Anonymous Is a Woman: A Global Chronicle of Gender Inequality, with German journalist and author Daniel Schreiber.

This is a free event. Please visit on April 23, 10 am PDT to watch the live premiere.

Dr. Nina Ansary is an award-winning author, historian, and women's rights advocate. As a UN Women Global Champion for Innovation and Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics Centre for Women, Peace & Security, she regularly presents her work on the transformative role women are playing in global affairs at multilateral conferences, think tanks and universities in the US and the UK, including Columbia, Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge.

Anonymous Is a Woman takes readers on a 4,000-year global and historic journey exposing the repercussions of centuries of gender inequality and challenges centuries of cultural bias through biographical profiles of fifty extraordinary, yet forgotten women innovators to advance an unconventional argument for equality and inclusivity.

100% of proceeds for the book will be donated to human rights and womens rights organizations, with the primary recipients being The Center for Human Rights in Iran, a New York-based organization dedicated to the protection and promotion of human rights in Iran; and The London School of Economics Centre for Women, Peace and Security.
