German metal band Hämatom has consistently strived to unite their music with performance and visual elements making their shows more than a concert. The band comprises Torsten Scharf, Jacek Zyla, Peter Haag and Frank Joos, each of whom has adopted the name of one of the four primary directions. The band members don intricately designed masks during their performances. Hämatom's songs cover everything from german folk tales to current social issues. Having formed in 2004 the band released its debut EP Nein in 2005 and has released several other albums and EPs ever since. "Häschen," "Butzemann," "Alte Liebe Rostet Nicht" and "Fick das System" are a few of Hämatom's popular singles.
